Specialist of the three sustainability pillars, environmental, social and economical, the Collaborators Network of the Generations Pact offer their expertise and services to support students in their sustainability projects.
Sierra Youth Coalition is a national, youth driven, and diverse non-profit organization working in Canada. Through grassroots action, SYC aims to address globalization, consumption, and climate change through a solutions based approach of promoting education for sustainability, bioregionalism, sustainable communities, and lifestyle simplicity.
The Sierra Youth Coalition, in each of our program areas strives to achieve the following objectives:
Involve: empower youth in Canada to become active members of their community;
Educate: create a widespread understanding that all things are connected;
Change: challenge unjust and unsustainable systems by using a solutions based approach; and to
Invoke Seven Generations: ensure that the voices of future generations are clearly heard by decision-makers.
Sustainable Campuses
The Sustainable Campuses is a national initiative that inspires, informs, trains, and supports Canadian students working toward social equity, ecological integrity and economic prosperity on their campuses. These changes are achieved through changing institutional operations, improving curricula and mobilising campus community members’ support.
Since 1998, the Sustainable Campuses project has worked with thousands of students from across Canada in order to change environmental and social practices on Canadian campuses, and empower youth to influence decision makers.

Oxfam-Quebec is a non-profit organism of international cooperation founded in 1973 and member of Oxfam international, a confederation regrouping 13 members active in more than 125 pays. Oxfam-Quebec is dedicated to supporting its partners and colleagues in developing countries in the design and implementation of sustainable solutions to poverty and injustice. The organization also mobilizes the people of Quebec in order to allow the expression of their solidarity.
Oxfam-Quebec adopts sustainable principles through its work, integrating environmental issue to social and economic ones. Projects leaded by Oxfam Quebec in the South aim to eliminate poverty, among others to reduce climate changes impact and environmental deterioration over poor people. Oxfam-Quebec also works for increasing awareness of the community, particularly the young, about sustainable development issues and active solutions to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).
Oxfam-Quebec on campus
Inspired by the will of young Quebecers to participate to the global citizenship movement, Oxfam-Quebec launched involved community groups on university campuses in 2007. Those groups actively act to inform, increase awareness and mobilize their community to international solidarity and cooperation issues. To these days, 5 Oxfam-Quebec campus groups were born at the Université de Montreal, UQÀM, McGill University, Université de Sherbrooke, and Université Laval.

Because of its large experts network and experience in youth mobilization, Oxfam-Quebec offers to campuses:
Reports, studies, and press releases written by experts, and treat of sustainable development and climate changes issues
Tools to participate to the international Oxfam campaign on climate changes (flyers, posters mobilization lit, etc.), adapted to campus
Oxfam-Quebec campus groups network mobilized for key moments linked to climate changes, and wiling to support sustainability project implementation on campus
Web tools given access to international mobilization actions aiming the adoption of favourable sustainability politics
Access to a network of environmental partners for spreading sustainable student projects.

Quebec Alliance of Young Chambers of Commerce (Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec)
Important network of young entrepreneurs, businessman, self-employed workers, and professionals, RJCCQ (French acronym) represents and defends interest of its 4,000 members aged of less than 40 years, among 13 chambers of commerce and associations of young businessman across Quebec, for more than 14 years.
The RJCCQ participation to the Generations Pact brings the will to cooperate, experiment, search and develop between different economic actors of sustainability and students, through their projects.
The main RJCCQ role as collaborator is to promote the Generations Pact and students projects in sustainability within is own network, and to facilitate the cooperation between students and the economic environment.

To orientate students to the best business contact for succeeding in their project
To share its expertise with the fund management committee about economical aspects of potential projects
To collect technological needs, or will to develop a sustainable business, of its members, and inform the fund management committee about it
To inform its partners in sustainability about student projects (Réseau Environnement, CQDD, Enviro-Accès).

Quebec National Alliance of Regional Councils for the Environment (Regroupement national des conseils régionaux en environnement du Québec)
Founded in 1991, the RNCREQ (French acronym) has the mission to represent all CREs and speak on behalf of them for the promotion of sustainable development and the protection of the environment. The RNCREQ addresses challenges in most of the environmental issues (climate changes, waste, water management, energy, forests, agriculture, transportation, etc.).
Aiming promoting sustainability through concrete and valuable solutions, the RNCREQ is proud to be partner of the Generations Pact. Concerned about its mandate, and the one of its members, 16 CREs, the RNCREQ will communicate with, inform, orientate and support all parties involved.
Regional Council for the Environment
Regional Council (CRE – French acronym for Conseil régional de l’environnement) are non-profit organisations that assemble and represent environment groups, public and private agencies, companies, associations and individuals involved in the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development in their respective regions. CREs promote concerted action strategies by raising awareness, giving training or courses, or undertaking other types of actions. CREs base their decisions and actions on fundamental values: solidarity, partnership, and respect.
Depending on their own resources, CREs can support students from campus on its territory about their sustainability initiatives (development and adoption of sustainability politic or action plan, reducing university footprint, etc.), and their partnership with stakeholders (municipality, decision-maker, businesses, etc.).

Guiding to identify opportunities of developing project in their region (support, partnerships, funding, resources, etc.)
Resources, tools and campaign to increase individual and collective participation and mobilization

Consultative advise to selecting student projects
Reports, studies and press releases of the RNCREQ and CREs about sustainability and climate changes issues
